Seaside School District ratifies contract with classified staff union

Seaside School District 10’s Board of Education unanimously ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the classified staff union, Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) Chapter 107, during its Feb. 17 regular meeting.
The motion to ratify the contract was made by Katherine Davidson and seconded by Sondra Gomez and carried 6–0. Superintendent Susan Penrod told the board that "the OSEA members voted to ratify on Friday, February 13," and said "the new compensation will happen in the March payroll and the business office will communicate with staff about retroactive pay." The contract document for 2025–2028 was listed with the meeting materials.
