Lorena Woods, serving as Dean of Students and Athletic Director, reported that the district has recorded 118 student referrals so far this year compared with 190 at this point last year. Woods presented that decline as part of administrative reports and also provided athletics scheduling details: middle school and high school track meets are underway, the spring sports awards are scheduled for June 4 in Echo, and she will attend the State OADA Conference April 11–15.
Board Chair Scott Morris later thanked Woods for her work overseeing spring sports during Board Comments, saying athletics are running smoothly and well organized. The minutes do not record further motions or board actions tied to the referrals data in this meeting segment.
