Brundidge council approves minutes, extends landfill agreement and declares library copier surplus

The Council of the City of Brundidge convened July 7, 2026 at City Hall and approved the minutes from its June 16 meeting after a motion by Mrs. Rodgers and a second from Mrs. Hall. The minutes were approved "as presented," according to the clerk's record.
The council then approved two substantive motions: a motion by Mr. Everett (seconded by Mrs. Rodgers) to extend the Waste Disposal and Landfill Operation Agreement by an additional ten years, and a motion by Mrs. Rodgers (seconded by Mrs. Shehane) to declare a library copier surplus and sell it on gov.deals. Both motions passed by unanimous voice/show-of-hands vote. With no further business, Mrs. Hall moved to adjourn and Mrs. Rodgers seconded; the meeting was adjourned. Linda Faust, city clerk, certified the minutes and noted the original is filed at 200 North Main Street.
