The Towanda Area School District Board approved the district’s summer offerings for 2026: Towanda Elementary School (grades 3–6), Towanda Jr/Sr High School (grades 7–12), Summer Academy (grades 9–12), Title I programming, and ESY (Extended School Year). The motion was moved by Brooks Greenland and seconded by Mark Vail and passed by voice vote, 7-0-0-2.
The board also approved a tentative list of graduating seniors for the 2025–26 school year and authorized a survey from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Department of Education to conduct an oral-health survey of third-grade students.
