The Towanda Area School District board approved several contracts and service agreements during its Feb. 17 meeting. Industrial Electronics, Inc. will perform a digital radio upgrade to bus radios at a total cost of $35,732.46. The board also approved a three-year lease through Dell Financial Services for elementary student laptops at $9,885.56 per month.
Board members authorized advertisement of a Request for Proposals for Food Service Management Services and gave administration authority to negotiate a guidance support agreement with Dorothy (Dodie) Adams at a rate not to exceed $375 per day for up to 20 days for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year. The board also adopted Resolution TASD 2025/26-02m granting administration authority for Public Safety Facility Improvement Grant fund requests.
