President Curt McMahon called the Potosi School District Board to order on May 6, 2026, and the board moved quickly to elect officers for the coming year. Board member Jen Richardson nominated Curt McMahon for president; the motion, seconded by Ryne Emler, passed by roll call vote 6-0, electing Curt McMahon as president.
The board also elected Ben Gavinski as vice-president after a nomination by Curt McMahon and a second from Connie Haberkorn; that vote was 6-0. Craig Bierman (absent) was nominated and elected as clerk (nominated by Ben Gavinski, seconded by Jen Richardson); Ryne Emler was elected treasurer (nominated by Jen Richardson, seconded by Curt McMahon). The board named Connie Haberkorn as the WASB representative (nominated by Peggy Udelhoven, seconded by Ryne Emler) and selected Ben Gavinski as the CESA 3 representative (nominated by Ryne Emler, seconded by Connie Haberkorn). All officer and delegate votes were unanimous (6-0).
