The Port Orford-Langlois School Board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Dec. 15 regular meeting, approving new hires and the surplus of district Chromebooks. Angel Ashdown moved the motion to approve, and Judy Miles seconded; all five board members voted in favor.
The consent items included approval of the Nov. 17 minutes; hiring Carrie King as a special education instructional assistant; hiring Dolores Seagrave as head cook and Mary Hanson as assistant cook; authorizing surplus of Chromebooks; and granting a leave of absence to teacher Kandi Wyatt. The board did not raise questions about the items during the consent vote.
The action was recorded as a single consent motion so each personnel hire and the property surplus were adopted together. The meeting minutes list the motion as passed unanimously.
