Council approves revised permit fee schedule in Resolution #525; effective Jan. 1, 2026

Solicitor Russ Sacco explained that Keystone performed a comprehensive review of permit, land development, zoning hearing board and use-and-occupancy fees, finding Tullytown’s rates substantially below those of neighboring municipalities and often not covering administrative costs. To address that, council approved a revised fee schedule in Resolution #525 and set an effective date of January 1, 2026; Solicitor Sacco said the resolution as written will not affect any permits already submitted.

Councilman Shellenberger proposed the resolution with a motion to approve, seconded by Mr. Saunders; the roll-call vote was unanimous. Council members discussed that immediate enforcement could reduce short-term revenue but accepted the solicitor’s confirmation that pending permits would be grandfathered.
