The Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District Board of School Directors unanimously adopted a resolution authorizing Superintendent Nicole Dice to sign contracts, agreements and grants with the Pennsylvania Department of Education electronically.
The resolution, approved by motion of David Tannehill and seconded by Nathan Enos, states the district will accept electronic signatures as legally enforceable and will notify PDE if Dice is no longer authorized. The board’s action covers e-grants filings and affirms that electronically printed copies of contracts are admissible in proceedings under the same conditions as other business records.
Board President Michael Diehl presided over the vote after committee reports; the motion carried with all members present voting in the affirmative. The resolution was presented in the meeting text as a formal board resolution referencing PDE e-grants processes.
