The board approved multiple out-of-state and overnight student trips and a slate of extracurricular staffing and stipend assignments. The approved trips include district band to Berwick High School (Jan. 22–24, 2025) for PMEA District Band, chorus to Bloomsburg University (Feb. 5–7, 2025) for PMEA District Choral Festival, and the girls' softball trip to Myrtle Beach, SC (March 22–28, 2025). The trips were approved by roll call.
The board also approved employment and stipend items including the School Safety & Security Coordinator listing for Eric Briggs, a Health Support Professional (Emma Boyer, effective Jan. 6, 2025), drama staff for the spring musical (director, assistant directors, set builder and pit conductor), a head track and field coach stipend for Tracy Wright ($3,642), and a volunteer softball coach appointment for Lily Eiswerth. Roll-call results were recorded for each employment-related motion.
