Board signs contracts for special-education placements, signage, psychologist services and stadium design

The board approved several service agreements and professional-fee proposals on Jan. 13. The district will contract with Pyramid Healthcare Inc., doing business as Soaring Heights School, at $310 per day per student for education services; it also approved a revised Schrader Group fee proposal estimated at $72,000 for stadium support building design and construction professional services.
The board authorized a memorandum of understanding with BLAST IU #17 to provide a school psychologist for 100 days at an estimated cost of $78,750, paid from PCCD mental-health funds as services are rendered. The ELS911 Wayfinding System Signage Contract was approved to provide coordinated interior and exterior signage for Central Elementary and the High School using PCCD safety funding. A separate agreement allows district teams to use Little League Incorporated batting cages at no cost through June 1, 2025.
