The board approved a sabbatical leave for employee #651 from Jan. 20, 2025 through June 11, 2025 and an unpaid leave for employee #1357 from May 12, 2025 through June 11, 2025; both leave motions carried on roll-call votes.
On personnel hires, the board approved Riley Frazier as a kindergarten teacher at Central Elementary for 2025–2026 at step B-1 with a salary of $53,165 per the South Williamsport Area Education Association agreement. The board also approved certified substitute Kaitlynn Davenport and several guest teachers through the Blast Intermediate Unit program; the minutes record rescinding Alex Morrow as a paid Boys Junior High assistant soccer coach due to a co-op with Saint John Neumann.
