Board approves Job Corps placement agreement and CTE memorandum with Williamsport district
Summary

The board approved two interorganizational actions intended to expand student opportunities. Members voted to approve an agreement with Keystone/Red Rock Job Corps to provide placements for students at risk of dropping out so they can pursue a diploma while learning trades. The motion was moved by Brigandi and seconded by Bukeavich and carried by roll call.
Separately, the board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Williamsport Area School District to govern Career and Technical Education programs effective for school years 2025–2026 through 2029–2030. The MOU was moved by Hitesman, seconded by Bukeavich, and approved by roll call.
