Board approves 2026–27 service agreements, mobile ag lab sponsorship noted

Dr. Reed and other administrators reviewed the contracts: an extension with ESS Northeast for substitute staff and educational service agreements including Diakon Child and Family Community Ministries to provide special‑education services for the Center Point Day Treatment Program. The Friends of Agriculture Foundation’s Mobile Ag Ed Science Lab will visit Oak Flat, Newville and Mount Rock; board members noted a $600 grant from the Pennsylvania Soybean Association to support the lab’s visit. The board approved the slate by motion.
The board also reviewed PSBA dues renewal and curriculum recommendations connected to policy housing and board training. No budgetary objections were raised during the vote.
