Marion Center board accepts resignations, approves substitute lists, hires and stipends

The board accepted the resignation of Jennifer Yurky, Kindergarten teacher at Rayne effective Aug. 19, 2024, and accepted the resignation of Justin Hall effective Sept. 5, 2024. The minutes record the motions and unanimous approvals.
The board also approved additions to the district substitute lists across nutrition services, lifeguard, IA, professional teachers and guest teachers; approved contracted bus drivers (eight named individuals); approved multiple coaching hires with listed stipend amounts (for JH football, girls basketball and wrestling); and approved a $5,000 stipend for Cathie Stiteler to serve as District ACCESS Coordinator. Motions were moved and seconded as recorded; vote tallies were unanimous where shown.
