FBLA: 21 students qualify for Hershey leadership conference; board asked to approve travel up to $14,295

Tyson Ellenberger addressed the board and reported that 21 students qualified for the FBLA Leadership Conference in Hershey and that five other students are competing directly at the state level. The board packet included a travel request asking approval for Ellenberger to take students to the FBLA State Leadership Competition in Hershey at a cost not to exceed $14,295.
Mr. Magolis and Mr. Ellenberger noted the $14,295 estimate does not include the five students who will go directly to state competition; they said the figure will be adjusted for the board meeting next week. The minutes record the travel request as item E in the agenda recommendations. Funding for school trips must be reflected in future agenda packets if the board amends the amount.
