The board approved the first reading of several policy and administrative regulation changes, including 249 (Bullying/Cyberbullying) and related ARs, 317.2 (Educator Misconduct), 336 (Personal Necessity Leave), 339 (Uncompensated Leave), 801 (Public Records and AR-1 Disclosure/production of certain records), 807 (Opening exercises/flag displays), and 824 (Maintaining Professional Adult/Student Boundaries).
The motion for first readings was moved by Mr. Glasser, seconded by Mr. Farmery and passed with a roll call that recorded Beatty voting No and five other members voting Yes; the minutes list the overall tally as Aye:6 Nay:1. The board also approved moving the Re-Organization Board meeting to Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the McCreery LGI.
