The Marion Center Area School Board voted on multiple consent agenda items and individual motions during its Oct. 28, 2024 voting session in the McCreery LGI.
Board members approved the September 16 and September 23, 2024 minutes, the September Treasurer's Report and payment of the October bills. The motion to approve minutes and financial reports was moved by Ms. Dicken, seconded by Mr. Hankinson and carried with a recorded vote of Aye:7 Nay:0 Abstain:0.
The board also approved additions to the district volunteer list, a plan to donate selected low-circulation or aged books to students, staff or outside agencies, and a host of personnel and extracurricular items summarized below. Several motions were unanimous; policy first readings were approved later in the meeting with a recorded 6–1 vote on that item.
