Board approves psychiatric services, home-health agreement and YMCA afterschool program

At its Feb. 24 meeting the Marion Center board approved multiple vendor and service agreements. The board approved an agreement with The Meadows Psychiatric Center for services and an agreement with Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, Inc.; both motions carried 6-0.
The board also approved a YMCA contract to provide the Big Hearts afterschool program on district property. Separately, the board approved Rachael Biddle's attendance at the Elevate 2025 conference (June 23-26) at an estimated cost of $2,368 to be covered by allocated Title IIA non-public federal funds. The board approved a student trip to the National Association for Music Education Eastern Division Concert Band in Hartford, Conn., April 24-27, 2025 at an approximate cost of $1,241.64.
