During the special work session, trustees reviewed the applicant roster and staff-confirmed eligibility. A board member reported that each applicant attested to living in Zone 4 and being registered to vote, and noted that all five candidates also indicated they have students enrolled in the district.
Staff explained how trustees can review the candidate responses: the original Google form has viewing options (by question or by individual applicant), and the board book includes a condensed Excel attachment that removes redundant verification columns to simplify reading. One trustee said she had difficulty reading the shared file on her phone and staff walked through options for viewing the responses more clearly.
“...I removed all of those columns um to condense the narrative questions,” a trustee said while noting the condensed board-book attachment should make review easier. Staff reiterated that personal contact details were not publicized and the materials included only information in the public record.
