The Redondo Beach City Council approved its consent calendar on Aug. 18, including two resolutions read into the record.
Staff read Resolution CC-2608-069, a fiscal-year 2026–27 budget modification to allocate $69,152 from El Segundo and $19,761 from Hermosa Beach — a total of $88,913 — to Redondo Beach’s transit fund for cost-sharing on Beach Cities Transit Line 109. The council also read and adopted Resolution CC-2608-070 to lease certain city property to Raquel Butler Insurance Services LLC.
Both items were approved as part of the consent calendar vote; the consent calendar motion passed unanimously. Alex Feineman spoke during public comment on H9 (legislative advocacy letters) asking the council to pull that item from consent in order to work more directly with housing advocates, but the consent calendar itself carried.
