Staff explains how Reclamite and HA5 seal aim to extend pavement life

A staff member described how Reclamite and a later sealing product called HA5 are used at different points in pavement life. The presenter said the city measures pavement health using the pavement condition index (PCI), a 0–100 scale. Staff said pavements typically age about 2 to 3 PCI points per year and that the streets targeted for these treatments are currently in the roughly '70' range, information staff will use to judge whether the treatments increase service life.
