The Randolph County Board approved the Section 4 consent calendar by voice vote, 5–0, which included renewal of the district's Apptegy contract and approval to offer new agriculture courses at Tigers/Tygarts Valley High School.
Dr. Lambert described the Apptegy renewal as a combined ADA‑compliant website and automated calling/texting system; he said the contract is billed to technology funds rather than the general budget. "This is paid with technology funds," the superintendent said, noting the consolidation improved ADA compliance compared with previous systems.
On course approvals, Dr. Lambert said the new agriculture classes would be offered without additional personnel or cost and would be sent to the Department of Education for course codes so students could be scheduled for the school year.
The consent slate passed by voice vote 5–0; the board later tabled a separate MOA item (Foster Grandparent Program) for clarification of listed schools and outdated wording.
