She said the bus already drives past her home twice daily and restoring a single stop would add less than two minutes to the route while preventing unsafe parking and long walks for students.
Arbigaus said losing the stop would create an "impossible barrier" for her as a single mother working 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and could force her to remove her children from public school. The board asked clarifying questions, but no vote or directive to change the route was recorded at the meeting; the board noted the district can only clarify or direct staff to investigate but cannot take immediate action on non‑agenda items unless an emergency is declared.
