County, consultants point to TrueBridge software problems as major drag on Pratt Regional’s collections

County commissioners and consultants told the meeting that Pratt Regional’s revenue-cycle vendor (referred to in the presentation as TrueBridge/CPSI-related work) has been the single largest operational drag on cash collections and timely reporting. The Stroudwater team said the hospital has had multiple reimplementations since mid-2025 and that vendor changes ‘‘made things a little worse’’ before work is now under way to fix outstanding problems.

Hospital staff confirmed they could not always generate specific period reports from the current software and had to extract data manually into spreadsheets to perform comparative analyses. Tammy, a hospital leader, said, "we just got our January statements finished... we just got the month of January closed yesterday," and explained that software limitations and audit-related soft-closes complicated year-to-date reporting. Commissioners and counsel discussed options including running interference with creditors and pursuing litigation or vendor remedies; USDA staff said there are instances of multi-state problems with the vendor and that a class-action consideration has been discussed in other forums.
