The Stanfield SD 61 board approved the 2026–27 budget calendar and set a public budget meeting for May 20. A motion to adopt the calendar was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote. Board members reviewed the calendar briefly before the vote.
Separately, the board approved a proposed spring overnight trip after a motion and second. Earlier in the meeting the board approved consent-agenda items including minutes from Jan. 14, 2026, bills and financials and a resolution recognizing classified employees week (March 2–6, 2026).
Board members asked that staff proceed with calendar notifications and ensure the public hearing date is posted in advance of May 20.
