The board approved adding Jessica Mealey as a part‑time paraprofessional to the Extended School Year (ESY) program, to work June 17–July 24, 2025, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at $15.17 per hour. The board also approved summer scheduling contracts for guidance counselors (minimum 15 days, maximum 20 days at per diem rates) to assist with student scheduling.
The board authorized hiring two temporary summer interns to assist the Technology Department for up to 29 hours per week at $10 per hour from June 2 through August 15, 2025; Braeden Jones is listed and a second intern was 'TBD' in the minutes. Separately, the board approved an anticipated FMLA maternity leave for employee #1706 beginning on or about August 25, 2025, with intent to return on October 20, 2025; the employee will use accumulated sick and personal leave and any unpaid leave as necessary.
