At its June 29 meeting the Minersville Area School District board ratified several service contracts for the 2026/2027 school year and summer projects. The board ratified two CertaPro Painters contracts to paint the football stadium chain-link fence ($17,814) and the high school gymnasium ($32,380). The motions were ratified on roll call votes with all members voting in favor.
The board also authorized a Professional Services Agreement with Acorns to Oaks Consulting, LLC for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) services for the school year, at $130 per hour for in‑person BCBA services not to exceed eight hours per week. For alternative education/day treatment services (AEDY), the board approved a reserved secondary student slot with River Rock Academy at a daily per diem of $189, calculated at $34,965 for 185 days; the minutes note a separate per diem of $281 for private licensed elementary services if needed at the Cressona Campus.
The board approved a Mobile Dental Van services agreement with Lehigh Valley Hospital at $4 per child for 2026/2027 and authorized a Laudeman Pest Control renewal for cafeteria areas at $2,302.80. Each of these items was approved by roll call or voice vote as recorded in the minutes. "to paint the High School Gymnasium per the specifications, over the summer at a cost of $32,380," the minutes record for one contract.
