The budget vote followed the Finance Committee's recommendation and included approval of the 2026/2027 Athletic Account budget of $254,890. The board also authorized subsidy payments totaling $206,740 from the General Fund to the Athletic Account, to be disbursed July (35%), September (30%), November (20%) and January (15%). "Revenue: $26,807,200 Expenditures: $26,968,569," the minutes record as the approved totals.
Board members discussed committing remaining 2025/2026 funds, after the final audit, for anticipated increases including healthcare, pension, technology, charter costs, future salaries and unexpected maintenance. The approved motions give the administration authority post‑audit to allocate remaining funds above the PDE threshold for those purposes. The board approved the Treasurer's Report and ratified payment of May bills totaling $1,426,273.95 across listed accounts before adjourning.
