Bedford lists pool schedule, Rockahula Luau, Trash & Treasure sale and car show through October

The recreation director said pool hours changed for the school year and that the pool will be open only on Saturdays and Sundays until the final day on Monday, Labor Day (Sept. 7). "We have moved to our different hours since school is back. We are only open on Saturdays and Sundays. ... the final day will be Monday, Labor Day. That is our last day, September 7th," the director said. The director reported the recent Rockahula Luau sold a little over 150 tickets.
Staff described upcoming fall programming: pickleball league (fee $50 for an eight‑game schedule; registration deadline mentioned), fall softball underway, a Trash & Treasure sale Sept. 12 at Thornton Park (9 a.m.–1 p.m., $10 per two parking spaces; about 30 sellers signed up), and the 20th annual car show Sept. 19 (10 a.m.–2 p.m., $20 per car entry, free public admission) co‑sponsored with WQRK. Proceeds from the car show were described as supporting the fall funday on Oct. 15.
