President Kevin Wigoda called the June 26 meeting to order and the board heard a public comment from resident Keith Adams, who opposed the district’s decision to open the head softball coach position. Adams said the current coach "has two District Championships in the last six years" and asked the board "to vote no to opening up the position."
After an executive session called at 7:22 p.m., the board resumed at 7:28 p.m. and, on a motion by Board member Sarah Newton seconded by Michael Andruchek, voted on the record to open and advertise the head softball coach position for the 2024–25 season. The motion passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
