Students lauded for band, FFA, knowledge-bowl and scholarship honors

Mr. Fletcher listed staff-selected Spokane Scholars winners in English, science, math, social studies, fine arts and foreign language and said the winners will be honored at a banquet on April 21 at the Spokane Convention Center.
The board also heard event dates: FFA District 5 subregionals on Feb. 18, Regional Knowledge Bowl on Feb. 21 and State Knowledge Bowl on March 22 in Wenatchee. Mr. Fletcher encouraged community involvement as hosts for district events.
