Mister Sayers briefed the board on high-school activities and assessments, saying 45 students will attend the Bi-County honors band and choir concert on March 28 and that the band and choir concert is set for April 2 at 6:30 p.m. He also noted Smarter Balanced assessments (ELA and math) for 10th graders and make-up testing for 11th grade, and that WA CAST science testing is scheduled in the same April–May window.
On extracurriculars and events, Mister Sayers said prom will be held March 15 at the Spokane Convention Center with other schools, and that Knowledge Bowl and other teams have state-level events later this spring. He summarized a staff start-time survey, noting "that option a ... was the overwhelming favorite winning 26 to 10," and added that about 36 employees responded to the survey.
