Worker urges broad stakeholder involvement in Seaside superintendent search

During the public‑comment portion of the March 3 meeting, resident Chad Claus urged the committee to involve staff and other stakeholders throughout the hiring process rather than only at finalist stages. Claus told the committee, "the more that you involve the the stakeholders in every possible part of this, the more... we're going to seek a candidate that that fits the needs of Seaside School District."
Claus volunteered to serve on a panel and asked the committee to notify interested staff when the interest form is posted. Committee members confirmed they will post an interest form on the search web page and said they welcome volunteers from employees, students and the community.
