The Seaside SD 10 committee agreed to reopen the classified-staff application for interview panels to boost participation after members reported few classified employees had signed up.
Members proposed reopening the window so classified staff could submit the brief survey and be considered for panels. The committee set the limit: the application will remain open until noon the following day or until 12 classified applicants are received, whichever occurs first. HR confirmed the submission is a short administrative survey and that the committee will be notified of new applicants in time for HR training scheduled the following afternoon.
"We'll keep it open until it till we get 12 or noon o'clock. Whichever comes first," the chair said when members agreed on the reopening parameters. Committee members asked staff to post the link on the district website and to email employees to help recruit participants.
