Dylan said the "Nest" anchors safety, security and facilities; the "Wings" emphasize people, culture, recruitment and retention; and the "Flight" focuses on academic achievement and district outcomes.
Administrators said the framework incorporated community-survey priorities and is intended to be concise and usable in day-to-day decision-making; sample objectives and action steps are illustrative and the detailed building-level metrics will be maintained in internal implementation plans. Board members responded positively to the format and asked for time to "percolate" on details; the administration said it will integrate board feedback and return with a final draft at the board's September meeting for adoption.
