Montour School Board approves budget transfers, personnel moves and transportation contracts

At its Nov. 20, 2025 meeting the Montour School District Board approved Treasurer’s and budget items, accepted grants and donations, approved two student transportation contracts, and appointed Mr. Dominic Salpeck as assistant superintendent effective July 1, 2026.
The Montour School District Board of School Directors met Nov. 20 in the high school auditorium and approved a package of budget and personnel actions. Board President Mr. Kenneth Barth called the meeting to order at 6:43 p.m.; the board voted unanimously on the items presented.
Director of Finance Mrs. Anna Borsos presented the Treasurer’s Report showing General Fund year-to-date revenues of $49,791,960.12 and expenditures of $22,378,872.37 and moved through several fund and investment line items. The board also approved budget transfers and ratified bills totaling $5,091,723.88 for approval and $8,448,405.81 for ratification. On personnel items the board approved a resolution to appoint Mr. Dominic Salpeck as Assistant Superintendent for a five-year term at a base salary of $154,000 effective July 1, 2026. Transportation arrangements were approved for two students using KidzRide LLC at per‑day rates of $175 and $190. The meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m.
