Montour School Board elects Mark Hutter president, Cynthia Morrow vice president

At its Dec. 4 re-organization meeting the Montour School District board elected Mark Hutter president and Cynthia Morrow vice president; new directors received oaths from Magisterial District Judge Carla M. Swearingen.
The Montour School District Board of School Directors elected Mark Hutter as board president and Cynthia Morrow as vice president during its re-organization meeting on Dec. 4, 2025. Magisterial District Judge Carla M. Swearingen presented election certificates and administered the Oath of Office to newly elected directors earlier in the meeting.
Mrs. Cynthia Morrow nominated Mr. Mark Hutter for president; nominations were closed on a motion from Mitchell Galiyas and a roll call recorded that all present voted to elect Hutter. After accepting the presidency, Hutter presided over the nomination and election of the vice president: George Dudash nominated Cynthia Morrow, nominations were closed by motion from Mitchell Galiyas, and the roll call again showed unanimous support. The minutes list the meeting call at 6:04 p.m. and an adjournment at 6:15 p.m.
