Board approves multi-year textbook and digital-content agreements for social studies and economics

The board approved several curriculum-material purchases and multi-year vendor agreements. Director of Instruction Dominic Salpeck presented items including 30 AP Psychology textbooks ($4,620), 420 print/digital licenses for Principles of Macroeconomics ($19,119) under a six-year agreement, and a McGraw Hill six-year package for U.S. and world history at Montour High School totaling $90,587.
The board also approved a six-year Savvas agreement to supply core social-studies resources for DEW (grades 5–8) at $125,595, textbook sets for Pennsylvania history in grades 4 and 7 ($30,576), and an Edmentum agreement to provide Major Clarity for grades 2–12 through July 31, 2027 at $16,244. These purchases were approved as part of the Education agenda on a recorded motion.
