Montour School District approved a slate of personnel actions March 19 that included long‑term substitute appointments, support‑staff substitutes, extracurricular coaching appointments and status changes for certified staff. The board accepted multiple retirements effective in June and July 2026 and approved leaves of absence including paid, unpaid and FMLA‑covered periods.
The board approved a one‑time stipend of $6,300 for Melissa Medvitz to cover a student caseload increase from April 7, 2026, through June 4, 2026. Trustees also ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the Montour Education Association covering September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2031.
