Montour board adopts wide-ranging personnel and administrative policy revisions

The Montour School District Board of School Directors voted March 19 to adopt a comprehensive set of policy revisions covering personnel and administrative matters, including policies numbered 301 through 353 and related items listed in the packet. The motion, presented by Superintendent Dr. Christopher Stone, also included approval of a two‑year contract with Keysolution Education Staffing, L.L.C. to provide a Manager of Exceptional Student Services, Dr. Jessica Weister, at a salary of $115,000 for the first year beginning July 1, 2026.
Board President Mark Hutter moved to accept the minutes and the policy packet; Mr. Dudash made the motion to approve and Mrs. Moore seconded. The board’s roll call vote recorded all present voting YES. The adopted policies include provisions on hiring (301–309), performance assessment and evaluation (312–313), leaves (334–339), and employee conduct and discipline (317, 317.1), among others. The approved Keysolution contract is for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028.
