Montour approves flexible instructional days policy request and band trip to Norfolk

Director of Instruction Dominic Salpeck presented a request to use up to five Flexible Instructional Days each school year, subject to submission to and approval by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The board recorded the request and approved pursuing PDE approval for the flexible-day option.
Montour High School Principal Todd Price requested permission for the Spartan Marching Band to travel to Norfolk, Va., April 22–25, 2027, to perform in the NATO Parade of Nations. The board approved the trip as presented.
