Montour SD accepts 2024–25 audit, appoints tax collectors and awards physicals contracts; approves $200,000 transfer to capital reserves

At the April 16 meeting the Montour School District Board accepted the district’s 2024–2025 audit as presented by Case Sabatini and approved multiple administrative items. The board also approved a budgeted transfer of $200,000 to the capital reserve fund to support district capital projects.
Board members approved appointments of Lori Carelle as Pennsbury Village School Tax Collector (with Jordan Tax as deputy), Michael Pendel as Robinson Township School Tax Collector (Jordan Tax as deputy), and Douglas Price as Thornburg Borough School Tax Collector (Jordan Tax as deputy). The board awarded three-year agreements for student and sports physicals to Allegheny Health Network and transportation physicals/testing to Allegheny Medical, and accepted a $100 donation to the Montour Classroom Cupboard.
