Montour Board adopts proposed general fund budget for 2026–27

Director of Finance Anna Borsos presented the Montour School District’s proposed general fund budget for 2026–27 and the Treasurer’s Report through April 2026. The Treasurer’s Report listed year‑to‑date General Fund revenues of $70,733,878.73 and expenditures of $61,908,732.64. The board approved adoption of the proposed budget by roll-call vote.
During the same finance package the board approved payment and ratification of bills (General Fund bills to approve $3,285,344.04 and bills to ratify $2,549,486.76), a set of budget transfers, and a reclassification of $5 million from assigned to unassigned fund balance. Mrs. Cynthia Morrow moved to approve the budget adoption; the motion carried with all present voting YES.
