The presenter showed how a cast‑stone base would give a brownstone appearance while offering longer durability and said rooftop HVAC equipment would be screened to limit visibility from nearby residences.

Director Grauer told the committee that a first public hearing on naming the building is scheduled at an upcoming council meeting; at this meeting he said the building naming would be listed for public hearing as 'Georgetown' and noted that a subsequent resolution would come later. The Tekton presenter also mentioned a possible signage name to recognize a local individual, saying signage could read 'George Dunn Central Communication Center' if positive votes follow.

Committee members discussed window placement and natural light for the training/presentation wall and weighed options for moving or eliminating windows to keep presentation surfaces unobstructed.
