The board approved several routine procurement and service agreements during the Feb. 17 meeting.
The administration recommended a two‑year extension with G2 for lawn maintenance (2026–27) with pricing increases capped at the consumer price index and the board approved the extension. The board also authorized a letter of commitment with the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CIU) for WAN internet services, a step intended to maintain or improve internet capacity; final pricing will be determined after CIU bid results.
The technology department’s recommended three‑year service agreement with Train will cover security‑camera system services, annual maintenance, software upgrades and system backups at an annual cost of $25,325 (an approximate 3% increase over the prior year). The board also approved a three‑year agreement with Kelly Pediatric Therapy to provide school‑based therapy services, chiefly to supplement staffing in the district’s MDS classroom.
All items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
