The Towanda Area School District Board on Sept. 16 approved its August financial reports, including bill lists, receipts, food service reports and the treasurer's report.
After presenting the financial report, Brady Finogle made the motion to approve the financial documents; Ashley Popovich seconded and the motion passed by voice vote, 8-0-0-1. Superintendent Erick Cummings and principals Laura Steele, Jennifer Cronin, Dawn Hart and Rebecca Stanney (listed in the minutes as Rebecca Stanfield) provided brief administrative reports; Cummings commended the administrative team for a smooth leadership transition and mentioned Homecoming activities, school safety and athletics in his remarks as recorded in the minutes.
No questions to the superintendent were recorded in the minutes during the meeting's question period.
