The Towanda Area School District board approved a suite of contracts and intergovernmental agreements at its June 15 meeting, including a reservation contract with River Rock Academy and a lease with the BLaST Intermediate Unit #17.
The board accepted an annual reservation contract with River Rock Academy for student services at a stated annual cost of $266,400 covering elementary and secondary students. The board approved a lease with BLaST Intermediate Unit #17 for the Monroe-Franklin School for the 2026–27 school year in the amount of $50,000. The board also approved a proposal from Digital Scoreboards (COSTARS #032-E22-052) in the amount of $107,165 for a digital scoreboard. In addition, the board approved a three-year renewal with ParentSquare for $41,078 and an ArbiterPay subscription to pay athletic officials for $2,345 for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027. These contract approvals passed by voice vote, 6-0-0-3.
Administration also approved a contract with Young Athletics Consulting, LLC for athletic director services (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028) and multiple agreements with Intermediate Unit #17 for shared services and IDEA funding for 2026–27.
