On a motion and second, the board approved the remainder of Act 89 policy updates on second reading with no recorded opposition. Trustees then reviewed the annual seclusion and restraint report; staff said the district recorded zero seclusions and zero restraints for the last school year. "It's the one thing you want to score a zero on," a board member said.
Following that report, the board moved to convene in closed session under Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment and personnel matters. The motion was seconded and carried and the board entered closed session to discuss personnel and performance matters.
