Under ITEM #14 at its Jan. 21 special meeting, the Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District Board of School Directors voted to authorize issuance of a Statement of Charges against a professional employee identified in the minutes as Employee #2025-2026-001.
Vice President Terry Bender moved the authorization and Director Remy Bonnell seconded. The board stated it "believes there is sufficient evidence to support its belief a Statement of Charges should be issued to afford notice to the employee and an opportunity for a hearing," and authorized the Board President and Board Secretary to sign and serve the notice. The action was taken under Section 1127 of the Public School Code of 1949.
The minutes record no further public particulars about the underlying allegations, the employee's identity, or the content of the charges; the item was approved on a unanimous vote.
